RL3 Baseball is a youth organization affiliated with Little League International. We are a community oriented baseball program that fosters development and competition in a balanced and beneficial atmosphere. Our mission is to promote our core values of leadership, discipline, sportsmanship and teamwork to all of our players and families withing the RL3 Baseball program and the surrounding community in which we reside.

Our boundary generally include players that reside or go to school within Redford Twp., the City of Livonia or the parts of Westland, Garden City and Dearborn Heights that fall within our boundaries.  We accept baseball ages from 4 to 16 yrs old.  All players must present a birth certificate and proof of residency/school form.  All players must complete a concussion safety awareness and medical release form. Regular registration includes a uniform, a 10-15 game season, beginning of the year parade and end of the year family picnic. NOTE: Participation trophies will be handed out to tee ball and coach pitch divisions only.  Championship trophies will be awarded to the winners of the other divisions.

All-Star opportunities available at end of season for an additional fee per player (ages 7+).  A separate tryout process will determine selection to an All-Star team.

Each player is required to provide their own baseball cleats, baseball glove and protective equipment (ie. protective cup for boys).  RL3 will provide team helmets and bats.  Any personal bats purchased for play, must have the "USA baseball" stamp on the side.  All other affiliations (USSSA etc.) are not eligible for use in the lower divisions.  BBCOR bats are permitted in our Intermediate/ Junior/divisions and required for Seniors (please see little league website for bat regulations).

Volunteers are welcomed and appreciated.  All adults must complete a volunteer application (requiring social security number) and pass a background check prior to contact with players. Contact [email protected] with questions.

Divisions include:
Tee Ball (4-6):  Instructional division for first year players
Rookies (5-6): Instructional coach pitch division for returning players
Farm (7-8): Instructional kid pitch division
Minors (9-10): Competitive kid pitch division focusing on development
Little League (11-12): Competitive kid pitch division focusing on adv. skills
Intermediate 50-70 (12-13): Step between little league field and high school field
Juniors (13-14): Competitive division on a high school baseball field
Seniors (15-16): Oldest division of play.

Age ranges are a generalized estimate for division of play.  Skills evaluations will be used to help RL3 determine appropriate division of play up or down.

Junior/Senior divisions begin play after the area high school baseball season is completed, roughly after June 1st.

RL3 reserves the right to condense or change divisions as determined by player participation and divisions numbers.

REFUND POLICY: No refunds given after April 1st.  Refunds given prior to the April 1st deadline will be subject to administration/refund fees.

Celebrate the Season!  Holiday fun w/ RL3 - even if the weather didn't want to work with us!
