Mark your calendars! Our annual End of Year Celebration is happening on Saturday, June 8th. We're excited to celebrate another great season with a fun-filled day of festivities.

Parade:

  • The day kicks off with a parade for all teams starting at 10:00 AM.
  • We'll gather at Hilbert Middle School and march down to Claude Allison Park.
  • Get creative and decorate your vehicles, trailers, or even yourselves in team spirit! There will be a prize for the best decorated float, and the winning team will receive a pizza party!
  • Families and friends are encouraged to line up along the parade route to cheer on our players. Redford police will be closing main intersections to ensure everyone's safety, so plan your travel accordingly.

Player Arrival Schedule:
  • 9:00 AM: Intermediates & Majors
  • 9:15 AM: Farm & Minors
  • 9:30 AM: Tee Ball & Coach Pitch

Important Reminders:

  • Players must wear tennis shoes. Cleats are NOT allowed.
  • Parking near the staging area on Puritan is limited. Please plan to drop off your player(s) and then join the parade route to cheer on the teams.
  • Please make sure to have your players arrive on time to help their team with float decorations and ensure the parade can start on time.

Claude Allison Park:

Once we arrive at Claude Allison Park, there will be a closing ceremony followed by a hot dog lunch for all players and coaches. Additional hot dogs, chips, and drinks will be available for purchase by donation. Kona Ice will also be available for purchase. 

New this Year: Showcase Games!

We're excited to introduce showcase games for the Farm, Minor, and Major divisions! These games will feature standout players from each team. The games will begin at 12:00 PM. We'll share more details about the showcase rosters soon!

Raffle Baskets:

We're also collecting donations for raffle baskets. Each division has a fun theme and baskets will be raffled off at the end of showcase games. Tickets will be available for purchase at concessions. Winner will be notified by phone and does not need to be present to win.

Please drop off your donations by 10:00 AM on June 8th at Claude Allison Park near Field 4.

Volunteer Refunds:

Parents that have satisfied the volunteer requirement for the spring season, please see Christine between 12:15-1:00pm to receive your $50 refund. We will have a refund table at Claude Allison Park near Field 4. If you are unable to attend please notify president@rl3baseball.com
