PLAYER EVALUATIONS EXPLAINED

Player Evaluations are just that, an evaluation on players ability, skill and baseball knowledge. The players will be asked to perform basic ground ball, catching, throwing drills. Along with base running and batting drills while being “graded” by coaches and members of the board.

You may be asking, Why does Little League have evaluations, my son/daughter is not even in high school yet? Great question and we get that question all the time.

Evals are very important to Little League International and RL3 because it ensures:

1) players are in the right division for their age and skill level
2) helps make sure that teams are balanced to promote competition in all divisions
3) we are able to provide the safest possible experience

Please remember that THIS IS NOT A TRY OUT! No one will be “cut” from our program.
